Aspire To Inspire

I hate going through periods of time in my life where I feel stagnant. Those moments where it seems as though everything I do on a daily basis can be chalked up to routine. Routine is just so scripted. And in this script, the main character (me) seems to just go through the motions of the day. But what's the point of it all if I'm just doing everything mindlessly. If someone were to read the script -  that is my life - would they be moved; would they feel inspired?

I've resolved that I'm tired of routine. Because let's face it, routine can get boring, really fast. I wan't to get back to doing things that inspire me and putting myself in situations where I have to opportunity to do the same for others. I want to do something worth remembering; things I can look back on as stories of amazing times. Or even the not-so amazing times. Bottom line is I want to experience it all.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm young, and if I want to do something, anything I just got to make up my mind and do it. I won't be young forever and I don't want to grow old, only to look back on an ocean of regrets. From now on, if I have the means to do something I want to do, I'm going to do it. Plain and simple. Who knows how much longer I'll be given the opportunity to do so right?

When it comes down to it "There are too many books I haven't read, too many songs I haven't listened to and too many places I haven't visited yet" so I should start doing it all while I can.

Peace.

  1. I definitely know what you mean. It can get so boring when you look at your life and see nothing but a continual wheel that never seems to stop. And the wheel is SO BORING. And it seems like everyone around me is out doing things and living their lives and I'm just here in my living room, typing on a computer.

    1. I'm glad i'm not alone in this feeling :) I suggest we both start doing at least one new thing different from our routines a week. Maybe some cool will happen. Thanks for reading

  2. Definitely. Recently I've been super busy doing a whole bunch of stuff that I don't even want to do, stuck in the same cycle, so I'm trying to rearrange my schedule and do more things I'm actually interested in.
By the way, I've tagged you in a Christmas tag if you want to do it. :) The details and rules are on my blog.
